GENERAL POSITION OVERVIEW
Position includes creating, updating and cancelling bookings per requests from inbound calls and emails from
customers/shippers. Clerk will be responsible for timely responses to customer inquiries and troubleshooting
needs, as well as track moving cargo

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
List specific duties – Performs on a frequent and/or recurring basis:
1. Answer inbound calls from queue and direct
2. Create, update, and cancel bookings
3. Trouble shoots operational issues
4. Trouble shoots and coordinate pick up schedules
4. Correspond with internal departments to gather shipper requested information
5. Monitor Group and Personal email and responds to all incoming mail in a timely fashion
6. Proficient navigation
7. Create new reservations in accordance to company and International regulations/ requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITES
Prior customer service experience, time management skills, ability to prioritize work, work efficiently under
pressure, ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, detail oriented, critical thinking skills, proper phone
etiquette and strong communication skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED required. College degree preferred, not required.

ENVIRONMENT/ EQUIPMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Normal office environment uses computer, calculator, telephone, fax, copy machine, printer, and document
shredder.
